“Martha” the last Passenger Pigeon

Today, September 1, marks 100 years since the death of the last passenger pigeon and the extinction of what was once the world’s most abundant bird. The last passenger pigeon, Martha, died at the Cincinnati Zoo, on 1 September 1914.

The WCFF strives to make sure this will never happen again with another species. Join us in New York, NY the week of October 13-19 for a week of exceptional films, presentations, workshops, receptions and the gala.
